Buttercups
0 - 2 year olds
The nursery is divided into three age groups. The baby unit caters for six babies from birth to 2 years, with a staff ratio of 1 to 3. this room is called Buttercups.
In the Buttercups the babies benefit from a sunny and homely room where they can play with accessible and interesting resources. Activities are planned around individual children to encourage development and these stem from the children’s interests.

The babies have a cosy area to be quiet and relax, and a discovery area with treasure baskets that will encourage natural curiosity. They will also have opportunities to use tactile materials such as paint, pasta, cornflour and sand.
The staff will record exciting moments for you with photographs and observations, which will be shown to you on a regular basis then finally to keep at the end of your child stay with us.
